And I’m not talkin’ re-runs or a weird reboot with different actors, I’m talkin’ the real Rori and Lorelei Gilmore in the flesh continuing the story that made my life. So Netflix is the godsend that is making this a reality after closing a deal with Warner Bros that according to reports will include four 90-minute episodes. The show’s creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Producer, Daniel Palladino are also rumored to be back on board so the show’s original magic will be rightfully restored.
Word is that the Gilmore Girl OG’s including Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, and Scott Patterson will all be back, BUT Lauren, aka Lorelei, aka me, tweeted saying that she can’t confirm or deny the rumors. Which I’m going to take as a yes for the sake of my heart.
The revival will be taking place 8 years from when it left off which opens up a billion questions. Will Lorelei and Luke get married? Is Rori still in politics? Will any of her love interests come back? And will Melissa McCarthy be reprising her role as Suki?? Soo many questions it hurts. So please, in the name of Luke’s diner, Gilmore Girls come back.
