Move over Miley, Nicki, Riri and all imitators: JLo has come to snatch the TWERKING crown. Jennifer Lopez posted a 1 minute teaser of new song "Booty" to her Vevo, and swiftly stole the twerking crown. It's about time the 44 year old commemorated her best asset in song form and it does NOT disappoint. I mean, the video starts like this.
And not long after, JLo sticks her hand... there. Did I mention that those leggings are made out of the thinnest material I've ever seen. And Jennifer is generous, teaching us how to twerk like her.The hand placement on her lower back—I've never seen that before! And did I mention she invented the jump rope twerk?
Honestly, I've personally been a loyal Nicki Minaj twerk champion but I'm seriously reconsidering. And the JLo news gets even better because not only is she twerking, there's an entire song about it. In this track she sings, "It's his birthday/ Give him what he ask for". A little different than Katy Perry's "Birthday" song. But interestingly it was Jen's twin babies that convinced her to put the song on her 10th album "A.K.A.". She played it for them in the car and they went nuts, quote, "And I was like, 'I have to put this damn song on the album.'" Well done Jennifer.
