Kim Kardashian RESPONDS To Blackface Backlash After Being Dragged Online

Kim is responding to claims that she wore blackface in KKW beauty ads in the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians
Turns out, she totally understands why she got so much backlash
Things were heating up on last night’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. While Khloe was surprised with an epic birthday party thanks to her her doting boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, Kim was feelin’ the heat on a whole other level.
If you guys can recall, Kim faced some major backlash this past summer over her KKW beauty promo pics. After Kim shared one of those photos to her socials, the internet was quick to lash out, accusing Kimmy of doing blackface. Now, we’re seeing how it all went down from Kim’s perspective.
Kim went on to explain the pics saying QUOTE “We wanted them really moody, I was really tan. I wanted to show the contour. The photos ended up being a little darker than I was and there was some people online saying that I was doing blackface and the photos were inappropriate."
But for Kim, she really just wanted to make sure her fans and followers knew that she never wants to offend. She said QUOTE "I mean I get it. I was super tan, the lighting is really moody so I get why people would say that. I just want to give anyone a reason to say something negative. I would never disrespect anyone."
And I gotta say, I believe her. Although, it wouldn’t be the first time Kim has been accused of doing blackface… it wouldn’t even be the second time, so she should probably just try to be a little more careful next time.
