Sounds like all those complaints about Snapchat’s recent update have been heard loud and clear by the company.
Even if you aren’t a Snapchat user, chances are you’ve seen or heard the complaints about the app’s redesign one way or another. It’s been VERY clear that people are just not into the new Snapchat update and the entire company knows it.
Although Snap CEO Evan Speigel stood by the controversial changes at a Goldman Sachs investor event by saying QUOTE, “Some of the complaints we are seeing are reinforcing our philosophy.”
The company isn’t just just sitting around and hoping people will get over the redesign and continue to use Snapchat.
In fact, Snapchat addressed their recent changes by responding to a Change.org petition where users called on the company to roll back on the design changes.
Team Snapchat wrote QUOTE, “We completely understand the new Snapchat has felt uncomfortable for many. Beginning soon on iOS, and with Android in the coming weeks, we are introducing tabs in Friends and Discover, which will make it easier to find the Stories that you want, when you want them. This foundation is just the beginning, and we will always listen closely to find new ways to make the service better for everyone.”
From the sounds of their responds, it doesn’t seem like the company will be completely reverting to their old design but are planning on improving the current design to everyone’s liking.
So how are you all feeling now after that statement? Do you think Snapchat should just go back to how it used to be or are you excited to see how the company plans on improving their current design?
