This is the first time these two powerhouse women are performing together and we cannot WAIT because it’s gonna be epic.
We knew that both Pink and Kelly Clarkson were performing at the AMAs this coming Sunday, but news that they are joining to open the show together is more than we could’ve ever hoped for. Fans have been dying for a collab between these two powerful and badass singers for YEARS, so this is going to one incredible show opener.
Kelly has previously said she’s wanted to work with Pink for a while, telling EW QUOTE, “I’m a huge fan of Pink...I haven’t had the chance yet to work with her. I think if you project it enough, it might happen, right?”
So now that they ARE finally teaming up to sing together, the real question is what WILL they sing? Our hope is that it will involve a duet-medley of some of their biggest hits, as well as a couple new tracks, including Pink’s latest hit from her newest album, “Beautiful Trauma”.
And as if Pink and Kelly Clarkson singing together for the first time wasn’t enough to get you to tune in this Sunday at 8pm Eastern time, other performers include Selena Gomez, Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Shawn Mendes, Lady Gaga, and Diana Ross. Talk about an incredible lineup of amazing performers! There’s literally something for everyone at this show.
