Rihanna gets candid in an interview with Vogue, opening up about her internet-fueled rivalry with Beyonce, what it’s like working with Drake, and more.
HOST ON CAMERA: Riri was all about that #realtalk when it came to her interview with Vogue, but we’ve come to expect nothing less from the “Work” singer.
Looking like a mermaid goddess out of the ocean in a sheer, shimmery multi-colored Tom Ford dress on the cover of Vogue, Rihanna is clearly at the top of her game, despite it being 7 years since her last album released. When asked what it was like working with Drake again after all these years, she said quote, “Everything he does is so amazing”. We can’t argue with that.
And when she was asked about what the deal is with this so-called rivalry between her and Beyonce, and how she feels about the rumors that Bey dropped Formation out of nowhere the day before “Anti” was released to try and steal her thunder, she gave the classiest of answers saying QUOTE, “Here’s the deal. They just get so excited to feast on something that’s negative. Something that’s competitive. Something that’s, you know, a rivalry. And that’s just not what I wake up to. Because I can only do me. And nobody else is going to be able to do that.” Preach, Riri, preach!
And when it comes to love, Riri explained why she’s single right now, explaining QUOTE: “My schedule is so crazy right now...It’s definitely going to be a challenge when I do decide to pursue a relationship . . . but I have hope!” We’re 100% rooting for her to find someone as awesome as she is to work on a relationship with when the time is right.
