Sam Rockwell SHOCKED Over Best Supporting Actor Win At Oscars 2018

Sam Rockwell took home the first Oscar of the night for his role in Three Billboards.
This was Sam’s first Oscar nomination and first win
If you’ve been keeping up with the nominees and winners this awards season, you know that Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri has been racking up the awards and so has Sam Rockwell. He’s already taken home a Golden Globe, SAG Award, Critcs Choice Award, BAFTA, and an Independent Spirit Award just to name a few, but now he will forever be known as Academy Award Winner Sam Rockwell. Even though Sam’s won almost every time he’s been nominated this awards season, he still seemed shocked that he actually won an Oscar. Rightfully so considering who he was nominated against including his Three Billboards co-star Woody Harrelson, and Christopher Plummer who took over Kevin Spacey’s role and shot all his scenes for All The Money In The World in just 9 days. Anyway, after he got on stage and joked about Jimmy Kimmel’s timing his speech, he told this funny story about his parents.
He goes on to say that his “Mom and Dad’s love of movies became his love of movies!” So I guess we should be thanking his mom and dad for encouraging his passion. He went on to thank all those that worked on the film including his co-star Frances McDormand and Director Martin McDonagh. Sam Rockwell has said in the past QUOTE, “Hollywood constantly wants to label you and type you into a certain category, 'Oh he's a comedy guy,' or the weirdo character guy or the villain.” Well Sam, now you will be put in the category of “Oh, he’s an Oscar Winner”.
