Selena Gomez & the Weeknd’s fairytale romance continued this weekend with Selena jetting off to South America to support her boo on tour & The Weeknd officially unfollowed Bella on social media.
Call me crazy, but I think it’s safe to say that a relationship is pretty serious when one person flies half way across the world to see the other.
While the Weeknd is on tour in South America, Selena flew to his side to show her support and to spend some quality couple time with her boo on his off days. And man oh man was Brazil happy to see Abelena. They FREAKED OUT at the airport, followed them all the way to their hotel and then stayed to chant to them from outside to come back out. Selena posted a video on her instagram story of the Weeknd performing while she cheered him on from the side of the stage. Selena and the Weeknd have been subtly posting more and more about their relationship on social media which is interesting judging from the fact that Selena recently told Vogue that she no longer has instagram on her phone anymore. But hey circumstances change. She previously told the magazine QUOTE - "As soon as I became the most followed person on Instagram, I sort of freaked out. I always end up feeling like shit when I look at Instagram. Which is why I’m kind of under the radar, ghosting it a bit."
Speaking of instagram, fans couldn’t help but to notice that the Weeknd has now officially unfollowed his ex Bella Hadid. When I say it out loud it sounds so trivial and ridiculous that that’s even a thing but we all know that it says a lot when two people stop following each other on social media in this day and age. Of course it’s no secret that Selena and Bella no longer follow each other either so it looks like everyone is ready to move on.
