Selena Gomez Gives Inspiring WE Day Speech

Selena delivers an inspiring speech to 16-thousand kids and teens for this year's We Day California - we've got the breakdown. Selena's speech really focused on telling her own story, from being raised by her single mother, being told by a casting director at the age of 11 that she wasn't strong enough to carry her own show, to booking her own show two years later. She reminded the crowd, made up of youth who are already leading local and global change and which clearly included eager fans, to just be yourself.

Selena went on to say that she learned from her mistakes and that's what's important. She said we need to trust ourselves, be ourselves, love ourselves and support others. Other celebs who signed on for We Day California include Seth Rogen, Raini and Rico Rodriguez, Orlando Bloom, Big Sean and a ton others. We love to see celebs and organizations zero in on inspiring others to be better, do better and support others to do the same. Congrats to We Day.
