Selena Gomez Talks Awkward Phase & Moving to NYC on Ellen Show

Taylor Swift recently said that she wants bestie Selena Gomez to move to NYC with her, and Selena is dishing on if, or shall we say when, it’ll actually happen.
The gorgeous star stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show recently, and spoke about not only that, but the experience of living on her own and working on herself – with millions of people watching her every move.
But first, let’s talk about whether or not we can expect T-Swift and SG to be Big Apple roomies any time soon.
Bummer! Plus, the fact that Selena just bought her own place in LA probably doesn’t bode too well for a move to the east coast. Speaking of, Selena also mentioned some of the perks about living on her own such as being able to walk around naked. Ha! Such a jokester. But for real, she talked about how it’s nice to not have to check in with her parents all the time, and how she paints and plays music.
Another subject they discussed was the constant attention surrounding Selena and her personal life – and most importantly her on-again, off-again relationship with Justin Bieber. Though no one was really mentioned by name, Selena did have this to say QUOTE:
“You know this year’s been.. I feel like I have been doing this so long that people tend to forget that there, all like "be yourself, be yourself”, and I’m still trying to figure out who that is. So, I know I’m not perfect, but I know I have a lot of people that support me and love me. I don’t know, I don’t want to let anyone down. So I just try to be the best I can be. It’s awkward being 20. In our 20s.”
She also mentioned how her fame has helped give her a platform for working with awesome organizations such as UNICEF, which she’s been part of for years. Though she’s gone through some tough times, we gotta love Selena and we will always be supporting her.
