They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but does Shawn Mendes’ impersonation of Justin Bieber count or nah?
Shawn Mendes gave the world his best Justin Bieber impression on the Tonight Show, but I’m not too sure if the Biebs will appreciate the lyrical changes made to his hit song…
In honor of the first day of fall, Jimmy Fallon called on Shawn to help him sing some Hashtag Fall Songs on the show and while they were all pretty darn hilarious remakes
Things took a teeny-tiny awkward turn when Shawn had to imitate the Biebs and the lyrics of this fall song that was sung to the tune of ‘Sorry’ was a little less fall-like and a bit more scandalous-esque.
At least Shawn said sorry after the bit. Hopefully it wasn’t too late for that.
Aside from assisting Jimmy in singing some of his favorite fall tunes, Shawn also gave an incredible performance of his song ‘Mercy.’
If performance was any indication of what his tour is going to be like, fans are in for a pretty nice treat.
