Most people expected Chris Rock to mention the lack of diversity at the Oscar’s that garnered attention this year. But no one expected this. Chris Rock explained tha the academy has taken steps to improve upon the issue and introduced Stacey Dash, the new director of the Academy’s minority outreach program.
And crickets…most of the audience in the auditorium and watching at home on TV thought he was kidding…but nope!Yeah..no one clapped! Stacey Dash is an ultra conservative, FOX NEWS contributor who suggested that BET and Black Hostory Month be abandoned. The same Stacey Dash was actually just introduced as the director of minority outreach for the Academy?
This is what we call hashtag FAIL. And celebrities reactions to her that were caught on camera were pretty indicative of how everyone felt.
