The Academy Awards are almost here, and it’s time to start thinking about possible hosts for the 2016 show. Welcome to another edition of Clevver’s Trophy Life.
It was just announced that the producers of the Academy Awards want two hosts for the 2016 Oscars. So, we came up with a list of possible duos that we think would crush the hosting job.
Producers announced on Wednesday that they want two hosts for the 2016 Oscars. So, who would make a good hosting pair? Let’s take a look at some of the possible contenders for the job.
First on our wish list would be Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. These two have done an amazing job hosting the Golden Globes for the past three years, and when we think award show duo, we automatically think Tina and Amy. Come on ladies, give the Oscars a try!
Another duo that we think would be amazing at hosting would be Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer. These ladies are BFFs in real life, and they’re even writing a movie together. Jennifer and Amy hosting the Oscars together would be comedy gold and people would definitely tune in.
We also love the idea of Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele hosting the Academy Awards. If you’ve ever watched their show Key & Peele, you know these two are hilarious. Since their show is coming to an end, it’s the perfect time for them to try something new, like hosting the Academy Awards!
Another duo we would love to see host the show would be Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader. These two SNL alums have worked together multiple times in the past, so they have great chemistry and are just hilarious together. They would definitely bring the laughs.
We would also love to see Kristen host with Will Ferrell. These two starred in a Lifetime movie together this year, plus remember when they presented together at the 2013 Golden Globes? They were hilarious:
See, they would be incredible hosts!
