Super Bowl Selfie Kid REACTS To Viral Moment & Memes Take Over Internet

Everyone out there thinks the Eagles won the Superbowl but the real winner is this kid who randomly broke the internet with his JT halftime moment.
Selfie kid as he’ll forever be remembered straight-up owned the internet side of the Superbowl, was all of us when he used his moment with icon Justin Timberlake to take a selfie…even though JT was like in the middle of the biggest performance of his entire career.
For those of you guys and gals that missed this stellar moment, let me back this train up and paint y’all a picture. JT is literally winding down what, again, was probably the biggest/most important performance of his career, doing the halftime show at the 2018 Superbowl. At the end of his freaking show-stopping performance, he headed into the crowd to hang with the fans while he belted out his last song. This is when enters selfie kid – his name is actually Ryan McKenna by the way. Anyways, selfie kid did what all of us would die to do, because priorities, and he snapped multiple selfies with JT, WHO FYI is the gem of the century because he literally posed for pics with the kid. Ryan told Good Morning America that it was “crazy” and that he QUOTE “didn’t really know” this whole thing was going to happen. Ryan did know he was sitting in a special section, but he didn’t know Justin was about to be all up in his face.
So what about moment in the show when Ryan was literally sitting there on his phone and looked he was totally hilariously ignoring Timberlake? Welp, he said: "I had a video going on and my phone shut off. That's why I was on my phone, And I love him because he's like my favorite singer, and I just had to get a selfie with him." He added that "It was definitely a great opportunity. This is insane, Like, this is crazy. I got to meet him and get a picture with him because he's awesome."
But guys, like I mentioned, this kid still owned the internet and everyone knew when this happened that he was about to become THE super bowl meme. Here are a few faves:
Jamie MCCarty posted this one where it looks like Ryan is searching “who is Justin Timberlake.” Another user posted this one where Ryan was searching the lyrics to “Can’t Stop the Feelin’” Another fave was this one posted by the show This Is US, where it looks like he’s spending the JT performance not watching but searching “what happens to Jack Pearson.”
Honestly, I love everything about this – so funny and why the internet can be amazing. Congrats to Selfie Kid and major props to Justin Timberlake on a killer show and more importantly props to him for being so generous and making this kid’s life.
