Taylor Swift Announces Pre-Super Bowl Show - Will She Drop New Music?

It seems like an eternity since we’ve seen Taylor shake it off, but the burning question remains: Does a brand new performance call for brand new music?
She’s back in her element and more ready than she’s ever been. Taylor Swift, along with AT&T announced the big news this morning that she’s set to headline an AT&T DIRECTV pre-Super Bowl show the night before the big game in Houston, Texas on Saturday, February 4th.
Along with many other sponsored deals Taylor has under her belt, the performance will kick off her newest exclusive multi-deal she signed with AT&T. A custom 64,000-square-foot venue is also being built specifically for the performance, and fans will soon have a chance to receive tickets throughout AT&T promotions and campaigns.
AT&T CEO John Stankey released a statement about the performance, saying QUOTE, “We’re thrilled to reach a deal to bring Taylor and her unique talents to her fans and our customers in new and exclusive ways. We’re excited to get event tickets into the hands of Taylor’s fans and exclusive content from the event to our customers and celebrate the combination of one of the world’s biggest artists with one of the world’s biggest sporting events.”
And just this morning, Taylor also tweeted a photo of a custom-made jersey featuring her lucky number 13, with the caption QUOTE, “Thanks @ATT, this is gonna be fun.” This performance marks Taylor’s first big musical announcement since her 1989 World Tour ended back in December of last year, however whether she’ll drop a new music bomb on us come next February is yet to be determined.
