Katy Perry’s boyfriend Diplo decided to diss Taylor Swift on Twitter, but you KNOW T-Swift’s bestie Lorde is defending her!
What’s up guys, you’re back at ClevverNews where we’re breaking down this whole situation just for you. OK, so it basically all started when the EDM DJ decided, for seemingly no reason, to tweet out this insult to Taylor Swift:
“Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty."
Messed up. And taking the diss to a whole other level, Diplo even posted out a Fundly page titled “Get Taylor Swift a Booty” and at the moment I’m reporting this to you, it’s made a whopping $45. Though it is mentioned on the page that it’s a joke – personally, I don’t find it very funny at all.
In fact, there’s not enough time to tell you how offensive this whole situation is, but Lorde to the rescue – she pretty much shut down the whole thing with her EPIC response to Diplo, when she replied to his tweet saying: “@diplo should we do something about your tiny penis while we're at it hm”
Dang, Diplo – you’re going to need some aloe for that burn! OK, so we have to admit we don’t LOVE that Lorde kind of went to Diplo’s level here, but what gives Diplo the right to body shame Taylor in the first place?! That is so not cool. And just because his girl Katy Perry might have beef with Taylor, there’s no reason why he needed to stoop so low and get involved.
