13 Things You Didn't Know About Taylor ►►
More Celebrity News ►►
That was Taylor Swift getting her jam in a car on the streets of London with BBC1’s very own Greg James – but more on that in bit. Let’s talk about this – “OTHER WOMEN WHO ARE KILLING IT SHOULD MOTIVATE YOU.” Amen to that statement which came straight from the mouth of T-Swizzle herself. Taylor is on the current cover of Time Magazine with a headline that reads (in all caps for emphasis might I add) THE POWER OF TAYLOR SWIFT. In the cover article, Taylor goes into great depth talking about everything from the fact that she sees herself as a songwriter before anything else, to the fact that every time she leaves her home she’s documented so sometimes she doesn’t leave, to revealing her dream guests on-stage (FYI – she’s dying to perform with IGGY), and she even talks about the fact that when it comes to being a role model to young people out there, she really sees herself as the president of the international babysitters club – being a role model has never been something she’s struggled with. She also opens up about which women she really looks up to, noting actress Mariska Hargitay and Ian Garten (AKA the Barefoot Contessa) as women that she looks up to, but she added that it’s been a struggle for her to find a woman in music for her to look up to that QUOTE “hasn’t been completely picked apart by the media.” Tay also talks about how she really put her neck on the line by changing directions musically and going the pop route…but as you can tell by the clip I showed you at the top of this segment, if the amazing car dancing inspired by “Blank Space” is any indication as to Taylor’s success, I think she’s definitely on to something!
