We’ve seen this before. Whenever a celebrity is riding high, someone always finds a way to try and tear them down. This time it’s three comedians who took to Twitter to accuse Amy of not being original with some of her jokes. The comedians engaged in a Twitter convo, which has since been deleted, claiming that Amy stole jokes from their acts.
Amy caught wind of the accusations and immediately tweeted to set the record straight saying QUOTE - "On my life, I have never and would never steal a joke."
Amy also sat down with Jim Norton to discuss the situation saying QUOTE – “I don't think it is personal. I have to come up with so much material and my TV show, this movie, stand-up specials…I am so careful and none of these things had ever reached me and I will literally take a polygraph."
Amy went on to say that she would NEVER steal jokes and that it would be dumb for her to do so.
Despite the tension, I gotta hand it to Amy for the way she’s handling this.
