Demi Lovato Still Hospitalized Due To 'Complications' After Overdose

It doesn’t sound like Demi will be leaving the hospital any time soon.
It’s been almost a week since Demi’s alleged drug overdose scare and she’s still stuck at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The reason for her long hospital stay? Well, according to TMZ’s sources, Demi is feeling really sick from the aftermath of the reported overdose.
These insiders told TMZ that Demi has been suffering from QUOTE “complications” related to the alleged overdose. These complications include extreme nausea, a high fever, and a number of other things. It kinda sounds like Demi’s body is still detoxing from whatever happened the night before the apparent overdose.
Anyway, because of this crazy change in her health, the doctors at the hospital decided to extend her care to keep an eye on her.
As of now, there is no word on when Demi’s doctors plan on releasing her from the hospital, but one of the sources told TMZ that Demi is QUOTE, “under the care of medical experts and is expected to make a full recovery.” A full recovery is definitely something we like to hear. Hopefully Demi gets better ASAP.
