Things are getting a whole lot brighter for Fifty Shades Darker and we’ve got new updates and all the info to satisfy your senses right now!

What’s up guys, so it was only about a month ago that Fifty Shades director Sam Taylor-Johnson decided to step down from her directing role for the Fifty Shades sequel, Fifty Shades Darker, but now, the book’s author E.L. James is handing over the movie’s screenwriting duties as well to someone near and dear to her heart….
The sequel will be written by none other than E.L. James’ husband Niall Leonard, but don’t worry, you are still in good hands, because her hubby has been credited with many successful screenwriting gigs, including British TV shows like Air Force One Is Down and Wire in the Blood and has written many novels such as Crusher, Incinerator and Shredder.
The movie’s producer, Michael De Luca, gushed about Niall to The Hollywood Reporter saying QUOTE, "Niall is an outstanding writer in his own right, with multiple established credits, and we are lucky to have him join Team Fifty."
A new director for the sequel has yet to be determined, however, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are fully committed to the franchise and will once again be returning to the big screen.
