Justin Bieber Skips Out On VMAs To Sing Karaoke

So let me get one thing straight: Justin Bieber DID perform during the VMAs, but not quite AT the VMAs… instead, he opted for a more casual show, if you will…
It’s not every day you get to see a live Justin Bieber performance, but it sure felt like it when a few lucky bar patrons in Studio City, California were in for quite a treat as JB walked in to hang out and sing some good ol’ karaoke on Sunday night, just like any of us average Joe’s would probably do.
While many celebs found themselves packed inside Madison Square Garden in New York on VMA Sunday, Bieber had his own Sunday Funday in mind after returning home from Cabo with his girlfriend Sofia Richie, when he popped by Residuals Tavern, a strip mall karaoke bar, alongside his security guard to sip on some Jack and belt a few tunes.
Many bar-goers recorded Bieber singing his karaoke song of choice, “Great Balls of Fire”, while one witness recalled the rare occasion, revealing QUOTE, “He came in to the bar around 10 p.m. with a security guard who gave him plenty of space and waited by the door. Justin knows the owner really well so he came in and drank for free, he was knocking back Jack Daniels neat and seemed really relaxed. After a few drinks he seemed to be in a really good mood and a few people were doing karaoke. The host said, ‘Justin’s going to sing for us tonight.’”
And clearly he came to do just that, so can you really blame the Biebs for just wanting to have good time? Although he didn’t take home any VMAs this year, he was surely missed at the show, but hey, we’ll take any JB performance we can get!
