Logic, Alessia Cara & Khalid Share Stage With Suicide Survivors At 2017 MTV VMAs

I hope you have some tissues ready, because Logic’s performance of 1-800-273-8255 will bring you and everyone watching to tears.
Kesha who has very publicly gone through a grueling lawsuit and career battle over the past couple of years intro’d Logic’s performance of 1-800-273-8255 (which in case you didn’t know was the hotline phone number for suicide prevention), and Kesha spoke with a lot of wisdom regarding suicide prevention herself saying Quote “It has been said that if you knew who walked beside you, you would never experience fear and doubt again,” …she also added that Logic’s song brought her to tears saying “The truth is piercing and the truth is what matters. The truth is none of us are alone,”
Then Logic hit the stage, as did Alessia Cara and DJ Khalid…and they were all joined by survivors who had once in their life attempted suicide.
Seriously though, I have chills right now. Logic took the time during the performance to thank everyone for giving him the platform to talk about something that the mainstream media want to talk about.
He also dropped this powerful speech.
