That’s right! While promoting her new album, Younger Now, Miley took some time to head over to Buzzfeed where she answered fans’ most burning questions.
Although Miley was easily distracted by all of the ADORABLE puppies that were present during the interview, she still got down to the nitty-gritty of her new album and explained everything from what inspired her new music to what being “Younger Now” actually means to her.
Miley said, “All I want to do is be with my family and be with my friends and know what’s important, which is being happy.” This is a far cry from the wilder Miley we’ve grown accustomed to during the Bangerz era, but hey, we’re here for this new, more mature Miley too!
Departing from the topic of Younger Now, Miley also answered a fan question about what it was like singing her hit song, “The Climb” for the first time years in the wake of the Vegas tragedy.
Miley appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon just days after the shooting, gracing the world with a performance of “The Climb,” which she hasn’t performed live in SIX YEARS. She explained on Instagram that performing the song on the late night TV show was a way for her to, QUOTE, “encourage unity, peace, & hopefulness.”
On a lighter note, the rest of Miley’s Buzzfeed interview was the perfect combination of both funny and cute, with the puppies excitedly jumping all over Miley, and with Miley being just as excited in return. One pup, which she named ‘Angel,’ even snuggled with her throughout the interview, and honestly… we’re surprised Miley didn’t take little Angel home!
Ugh, the puppies, the new album, the tribute to the Vegas victims… we just LOVE Miley!
