Nicki Minaj THREATENS Hiatus After Fans Slam Announcement Delay

Nicki Minaj’s fanbase went into a full on panic mode after their queen threatened to take yet another super long break from the spotlight. It all started when Nicki revealed to her fans that she had to cancel her taping of Ellen due to quote-unquote doctor’s orders -- which meant that the major announcement she had been teasing to all of her loyal Barbz would have to be pushed back to yet another day.
Nicki tweeted QUOTE, “I couldn’t fly out to shoot Ellen. [Doctor’s Orders]. I’m sad about that. There’s an announcement I was going to make on Ellen. I’ll make it tomorrow via social media instead. Love you.”
Understandably her fans were disappointed, but it was fine because well, what can we really do about that? So then WEDNESDAY rolls around and in the late afternoon, Nicki tweeted that she was going to go live on Instagram to share some big news.
But eventually that fell through when she tweeted QUOTE, “You guys, after careful consideration, I’ve decided to do my announcement tomorrow when most of my fans all around the world are wide awake. A lot of them are asleep right now due to it being like 3 or 4 in the morning in their various countries. Let’s do 3pm EST tomorrow. Love you.”
Again, people got disappointed but no one was more upset by this than Twitter user Alicia Luvs Nicki. She tweeted QUOTE, “Half your TL is busy tomorrow sis wyd.” Andddd that didn’t sit too well with Nicki because then she came back with a tweet that shook every Barb to their core.
Nicki then responded QUOTE, “Okay, well why don’t I just scrap it altogether? No announcement. And another hiatus. XO.” And you guys, this sent EVERYONE in a frenzy. Fans started tweeting left and right that it was just a joke and that Nicki should keep the scheduled 3PM time and after what seemed to be a super long time and a bunch of retweets on Nicki’s end, she finally calmed everyone down a single tweet.
Nicki quoted a meme and wrote, “Love you guys so much. Tomorrow I’ll feel a lot better & and I’ll have more energy to interact with you when I DO go live.” Hopefully this whole announcement thing goes super smoothly because we don’t have enough energy to handle another threat of a hiatus like this.
