Nobody questioned the 27-year-old singer, especially when she was NOWHERE to be seen Grammy night, not even the parties- and we all know Rihanna loves a good party. But now reports have surfaced claiming that there might be a different reason for her last minute cancellation.
She allegedly had a meltdown prior to the show. TMZ reported Rihanna was QUOTE screaming and hysterical" because she was not happy with rehearsals were going.
“Sources connected with the show and several sources who were not connected but present at the show tell TMZ ... the singer was loudly expressing displeasure over her rehearsal. They say she was loud and upset…” She went home after the rehearsal because she was too upset to even stay and watch the show.
Now, Riri performed two days before the Grammys at a Lionel Richie charity event and sounded completely fine
BadgalRiri was scheduled to perform her new hit, "Kiss Me Better," off of her latest album. And Late late Show host James Corden who was set to introduce Rihanna at the award show was ready to help the show go on! When he heard of Rihanna’s cancellation he said QUOTE 'I hear what you're saying — yes, I'll fill the spot," He joked that he had "just had a wax" and put on his hot pants, already singing "Bitch Better Have My Money" in his head and preparing umbrellas for his big finale.
