Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift have been best friends FOREVER, so it makes sense that Tay let Selena hear her new tunes before anyone else. Can you say ‘jealous?’
Selena chatted with Beats1 about her new song “Wolves,” and of course was asked about her bestie’s music. Selena was almost taken aback when the interview asked if she’s heard Reputation and if it’s good, because she basically replied with a big fat ‘DUH!’
Selena said QUOTE “It’s honestly so inspiring. It’s really cool to surround yourself with people and be involved with people who are aspiring and changing the way they dictate what they love, whether it’s acting or music, and she’s one of those people who will continue to do that.”
Selena and Taylor have been through SO much together over the years, and it warms our hearts that they’re still so close to this day. Selena seriously could not stop praising her best friend and her new music, so let’s listen to some more of the love-fest now.
Uh, can November 10th get here already?? We need Reputation, like, yesterday. In addition to talking about Taylor Swift’s new album, Selena also revealed some details about her own. We don’t have a release date or anything just yet, but Sel did reveal that it might come sooner than most people would think and that she actually has enough music to create TWO albums. No big deal or anything though.
