While ‘The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ is for sure happening – it was revealed earlier this month that the show has been greenlit and will be living on Netflix for two whole seasons – the actress to play role of Sabrina however, is still up in the air.
Now I know there have been a TON of theories surrounding the possibility of Selena playing Sabrina. After she dyed her hair blonde many fans immediately assumed it was for the role, thus solidifying Sel as Sabrina in their minds. However, Selena has FINALLY spoken out about the rumors and guys, you might wanna grab some tissues for this because it’s probably going to break your heart.
During her appearance on BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw, the show’s host grilled Selena about the rumors and apparently her playing Sabrina in the reboot is brand new information to Sel.
Well, there you have it. Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing Selena as Sabrina or any other magical character any time soon. In other words, it ain’t her.
