Shawn Mendes Reveals Drake's Security Once Roughed Him Up

Poor Shawn, all he wanted was to say hi to one of his favorite artists and the moment turned out to be less than exciting. All because of Drake’s very diligent security guard. During his appearance on the Tonight Show, Shawn shared a pretty funny experience he had after seeing Drake at The Weeknd’s show in Toronto.
Shawn explained during the show, he spotted Drake, went over to try to talk to him and then Drake’s huge bodyguard got in the way of what should’ve been an exciting moment for Shawn.
HAH, Mercy, I see what you did there, Shawn. Anyway, luckily for Shawn, during his moment of need, he managed to lock eyes with Drake and the rest was pretty much history.
As crazy as this sounds, it just goes to show that you shouldn’t expect everyone to know who you are – even if you are a huge artist like Shawn Mendes.
In other exciting Shawn news, the singer debuted a brand new elephant tattoo on the side of his middle finger on his Instagram story. Although he hasn’t revealed the meaning behind his tattoo or his decision to add some more ink to his collection, we’re sure it’ll be as meaningful as his first one.
