Taylor Swift is on the Cover of Harper's Bazaar & Reveals her WORST Nightmare & Songwriting Process
Taylor’s nightmare is all of our nightmares honestly!
Taylor Swift is on the cover of the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar and she looks incredible! She also got pretty candid in her interview that was conducted by non-other than English model and muse Pattie Boyd. As Taylor Swift fans we’ve always wanted to know more about her song writing process. Fan or not I think it’s safe to say we can all agree Taylor is one of the best song writers of our time! Taylor opened up about her song writing process to Pattie who asked her if Taylor could write a song on the spot based on a boyfriend’s interactions. Taylor responded to Pattie by saying QUOTE “There are definitely moments when it's like this cloud of an idea comes and just lands in front of your face, and you reach up and grab it. A lot of songwriting is things you learn, structure, and cultivating that skill, and knowing how to craft a song. But there are mystical, magical moments, inexplicable moments when an idea that is fully formed just pops into your head.”
Taylor then escribed he writing process as the purest part of her job and if you really think about it that’s true. She said “It can get complicated on every other level but the songwriting is still the same uncomplicated process it was when I was 12 years old writing songs in my room.” Which honestly just takes me back and makes me want to listen to Fearless all day. Pattie and Taylor also talked about the dark sides of being famous. Pattie told Taylor a story of the time she left a Beatles concert back in the say and a fan kicked her and pulled her hair to which Taylor appropriately said “That is my worst nightmare. You probably felt like, 'If you knew me and I knew you, you would not be pulling my hair in an alleyway and saying, ‘I hate you.' Which is so true. It’s honestly crazy how some fans behave around artists.
