Taylor Swift is looking gorgeous on the November issue of British Vogue, and our girl is doing what she does best – dishing about her personal life in a way that just can’t help but inspire us.
While Tay is known for belting out hit after hit about her love life, she’s explaining to the mag why the idea of dating is not something she’s entertaining right now. And spoiler alert, it has something to do with the constant paparazzi who follow her around on a daily basis.
T-Swift says quote:
"Dating or finding someone is the last thing on my mind, because I can't picture how it could work with the way my life is,” and continued, “I don't know how a guy is supposed to walk next to his girlfriend when there are 20 men with cameras, and he can't protect his girlfriend because that's the life she chose. I just don't see how it could work, so I don't think about it, and I kind of run from it when it presents itself."
Dating wasn’t the only topic of discussion, as Taylor also opened up about her highly-anticipated new album, 1989. She talks about completely changing her sound around from country to pop, and said she hopes there isn’t any hard feelings about the switch. Taylor told Vogue:
“You know, I don’t want to hurt people’s feelings, I don’t want to betray Nashville, whatever, but essentially it comes down to challenging yourself as an artist.”
If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you, right?
