Taylor Swift is coming clean about the reality of being a world-famous pop star, and according to her, life is a total breeze!
So whoever says being famous is “hard work” should probably take Taylor’s advice and just “Shake It Off” right now because she recently admitted that being in the spotlight is made out to be much harder than it is.
During an interview with BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw, T-Swift revealed that touring around the world is QUOTE, “not that hard. I'm telling you now, it's really not. When I was starting out I'd go on tour for three months and I was gone for three months. Now almost 10 years in, thank God we get to play bigger shows so I don't have to play as many."
But playing fewer shows doesn’t exactly mean an easier work load for the singer... She also revealed that she loves feeling completely exhausted after a show, saying QUOTE, "That's the best part of touring, when you walk off stage and you're drenched in sweat and you're tired and your legs hurt. It feels like you're really working for the job."
And of course a tough night’s work deserves a good reward, right? After playing a sold-out stadium show, Taylor admits she looks forward to spending time with her Friends at the end of every night. No but really, she watches 2 hours of the TV show, Friends, because who doesn’t love a good Netflix binge?
Ok, ok, so it’s about time for T-Swift to come clean right now: Yes, touring the world, watching Netflix and being surrounded by her biggest fans every night is the life, BUT it isn’t as easy as T-Swift makes it out to be. She revealed the single hardest thing about leaving the country… (or should I say TWO hardest things) saying, QUOTE, "I do have to leave the cats behind when I leave the country, which is the hardest part." But I’m pretty sure Meredith and Olivia are in good hands between all of Taylor’s Bad Blood costars to watch over them while she’s gone!
