A fee is set to be imposed for having vehicles with windows tinted above the allowable limit.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke said this is among the changes in the Road Transport (Amendment) Bill 2018.
However, he added that not all applications would be approved, as it would be based on necessity.
As for those who need to use darker tints due to medical issues, they will be exempted from paying the fee.
The Bill is expected to be passed and gazetted by January next year.
