Cue the freak out! Rumor has it Adele will be going on a TEN YEAR hiatus very soon.
Calm down guys! It’s just a hiatus from TOURING and she a very good reason for it.
UK magazine The Sun is reporting that Adele has decided to take a 10 year break from touring after her current global tour wraps up in November. So if you’re like me and you DIDN’T snag tickets to her “25 Tour” this year, you might be kicking yourself right now. But Adele has a very good reason for wanting to take a long break from the road: her 3-year-old son Angelo. A source told The Sun QUOTE, “Angelo is the number one priority for Adele… She has brought him everywhere with her on tour but as he is starting school next year, he won’t be able to join her anymore.” While our musical hearts are breaking over this news, we admire Adele’s dedication to her son. We’re only hoping this means that Adele won’t take a break from music altogether and we’ll get another album very soon. The source revealed QUOTE, “...it’s an easy decision for her to give up touring for him,” and added there are rumors of a possible Las Vegas residency in the future similar to Britney Spears “Piece of Me” show. Vegas is attractive to stars with children as you get to be situated in one place for an extended period of time. If you think about it, all this news isn’t that surprising. Adele took three years off of music in 2012 after the birth of Angelo. That doesn’t mean we won’t miss her quirky comments night after night on her current “25 Tour”!
