Ariana Grande Gets Emotional During 2015 AMA Speech

There were waterworks, there was laughter, well it’s safe to say Ariana’s acceptance speech was pretty much as perfect as, well, ARIANA.
The pop princess seemed genuinely moved and humbled after winning Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist at tonight’s AMAs. In her speech, she thanked her fans and also gave a special mention to her grandmother who she affectionately calls “Nona”.
Ari’s Nonna tagged along to the award show as her date, and when the camera cut to her grandmother’s reaction when she won, we almost found ourselves joining in on the waterworks as well. It was just too much cuteness to handle, BUT Ari finished the speech by joking about her surprisingly emotional state, saying “Ew, I’m crying”. Don’t worry girl, you couldn’t be an ugly crier if you tried.
