Emma Watson candidly responds to critics over her topless Vanity Fair photoshoot!
Emma PERFECTLY claps back at the haters.
Last week Beauty and the Beast star Emma Watson covered the new issue of Vanity Fair, and with it a came a gorgeous cover shoot. One stunning photo in particular stood out to fans- with the actress posing PARTIALLY topless in a white crocheted cape.
Keep in mind the photoshoot was NOT for an explicit magazine, but an artistic high fashion spread. Nonetheless, fans online criticized Emma saying this topless shot was hypocritical of her proud feminist views. One fan tweeted, “That awkward moment when you preach about feminism, but show off your boobs and objectify your body to promote a movie. Cc: Emma Watson”. Now, in a new interview with Reuters, Emma has responded to the controversy in the best way possible. Take a look!
Emma wasn’t done there, she also explained saying QUOTE, “Feminism is about giving women choice. Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with. It’s about freedom.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
We gotta know your thoughts on this debate: do you think Emma Watson has the right to pose topless or should she have covered up to protect her feminist views?
