The Weeknd and Daft Punk reminded us once more why they’re a match made in music heaven thanks to their sci-fi inspired Grammys performance...
A stunning and poised Paris Jackson introduced The Weeknd and Daft Punk to the stage, which was a fitting choice since The Weeknd’s voice has been compared to the late Michael Jackson’s many times before--particularly on his latest track, “I Feel it Coming”. And if YOU haven’t noticed the similarities between the Weeknd and the King of Pop yourself, prepare to be amazed…
Talk about some flawless vocal work, right?! You know MJ would be proud. And since we’ve already seen The Weeknd perform Star Boy at a few other shows at this point, it was cool that he and his robotic producing partners decided to change things up by doing a subtle mash-up of two of the album’s best songs.
It’s no news that when it comes to live performances, The Weeknd always delivers with technical perfection AND effortless swagger, and this year’s Grammy’s was no exception.
He couldn’t be any cooler if he tried.
