Lets just say we will all be staying alive after that performance and especially with Demi slaying those vocals per usual
Demi started off the tribute with the legendary groups biggest hit, “Staying Alive” and set the standards high. We all know she has vocal range but paired with that 70’s inspired style it was one of the stand out numbers of the night. Demi was giving us Cher vibes in a long straight jet black wig and all the sparkles. And just when you think it can’t get any better , Tori Kelly enters from the side of the stage with her electric guitar and filled the arena with her amazing vocals to the hit Bee Gees song Tragedy. But it was no Tragedy when Little Big Town walked on stage and brought the upbeat rhythm down a bit with “How Deep Is Your Love.” And then last but not least slaying the vocals our girl Andra Day bringing down the house with “Night Fever.”
And to bring it home for the 40th Anniversary of Saturday Night Fever, all the performers got back on stage together and finished it off with another round of Stayin Alive.
But this won’t be the last time this dynamic team collaborates together on stage to honor the Bee Gees. On Valentines Day Demi, Tori, Little Big Town and Andra will perform during a CBS full concert special honoring the Bee Gees. And they will also join forces with Celine Dione John Legend, Nick Jonas, Pentatonix and surviving Bee Gee Barry Gibb.
