Thanks to an awkward interview Normani did recently, fans are speculating that Normani and Camila of 5H may not be on good terms…
Normani sat down with Galore magazine and was asked to describe each of the other girls of 5H with one word. That’s obviously not an easy task, but Normani took her time and gave some pretty in-depth reasoning behind the words she chose for the girls. She described Ally as being “sunshine” for her ever-positive outlook, Lauren as the “therapist” of the group thanks to her wisdom and good advice, and Dinah as the “Turn Up Queen”, because she’s always down for a good time. But when it came to describing Camila, Normani struggled a little bit more to find a word for her…
You have to admit, “quirky” and “cute” seems a little more generic than the way Normani described the other girls. BUT, as quickly as fans jumped to the conclusion that this interview suggested some major tension in the group, Normani and Camila shut down those rumors during their New York show last night.
Normani and Camila spontaneously high fived each other in the middle of “That’s My Girl”, and fans went absolutely nuts for the united “girl power” moment. So there you have it...If a solid high five can’t shut down the rumor mill, what can?
As great as it is knowing that the girls are all on good terms, unfortunately there IS some actual bummer 5H news that we can’t toss aside as being a rumor...Earlier today the girls officially canceled the final four stops on the US leg of their 7/27 Tour. This means that shows in Washington, San Diego, and Las Vegas have been cut down. And the girls haven’t released a reason behind the canceled shows yet, which has fans even more concerned that this might mean 5H is preparing to break up. Let’s pray that isn’t the case!
Okay I know that’s a total bummer, but before you let it consume you and ruin your day completely, there is still a silver lining in all this 5H drama madness! Their song “That’s My Girl” has become the official anthem for the U.S. women’s gymnastics team, and NBC released a teaser of an accompanying music video, that features the 5H girls and the badass Olympians they are representing with the song…
Okay you have to admit, THAT is awesome. So before I go fangirl over that video 20 more times, I gotta know what do YOU guys think of the possible Normani and Camila feud? Was it blown way out of proportion, or do you think there’s more to it? And what do you think the canceled tour dates mean? Sound off in the comments with all your thoughts and feelings, and after that click here to find out how Taylor finally broke her internet silence. Thanks so much for watching, I’m your host Jackie Iadonisi, and I’ll see you guys next time!
