Taylor Swift surprises her pal actress Ruby Rose at the GLAAD Awards Saturday night!
Proving once again she’s the best friend a girl could have- Taylor showed up to give her friend some well deserved love.
Taylor Swift showed up at the 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Beverly Hills- a night honoring those who have made outstanding representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect them. Watch Taylor proudly honor the Orange Is the New Black actress with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award for promoting equality and acceptance.
Awww Ruby looked so touched she was practically in tears that Taylor was there to support her! We love that Taylor herself also appeared super stoked to be there that night, waving excitedly and grinning at the audience before beginning her presentation to Ruby. After accepting the award Ruby told the audience, “To have searched endlessly for...someone I can relate to on TV- and then coming full circle and being in a show that I know has done the same thing for so many people. I truly understand how important it is that we are not invisible.” After the show Ruby posted this adorable photo of the pals hugging to Instagram writing, “Tonight was EVERYTHING… Thank you @taylorswift thank you @glaad thank you to everyone who came out to be part of an amazing night. I feel truly blessed and humbled. I’m going to go cry and hold my pillow like a teddy now because I feel like I’m dreaming.” Yup- that makes us love Ruby even more, too.
