Check out the winners from the iHeart Radio Music Awards, from the Best Female and Male Artists of the year to the Triple Threat award.
iHeart Radio honored all of our favorite artists with some very well-deserved awards tonight, and we’ve got your Winner’s Recap right here on Newsfeed.
With over thirty categories of nominees, there were a lot of artists celebrated at the iHeart Radio music awards, and obviously topping the list was our girl Taylor Swift, who won Best Female Artist and Best Tour for her 1989 World Tour. She gave a shout-out to her boyfriend Adam, aka Calvin Harris, when she won Best Tour, and our hearts pretty much melted after that.
Best Male artist went to Justin Bieber, because of course it did, while Adele took home the award for Song of the Year thanks to “Hello” being the best song that none of us could get out of our heads. Adele wasn’t present to accept her award but she did send a heartfelt thanks from her tour stop in Birmingham.
How can you not love her? It’s impossible. Speaking of loveable, Selena Gomez won the “triple threat” award, thanks to her skills at singing, dancing, AND acting, while Fetty Wap also had a great night, winning Best New artist of the year. Meanwhile Chris Brown took home the Best R&B artist award, and if you guys didn’t see his performance from the show yet, it’s an absolutely must. Let’s just say hashtag dance MOVES.
Yeah. that happened. When it came to the hip hop categories, Drake totally cleaned up, winning both Artist of the Year and best song for “Hot Line” Bling. While none of us will ever forget Drake’s dance moves from that music video, the award for best Dance Artist went to Taylor’s boyfriend Calvin Harris, and the cute couple got to share yet another adorable congratulatory hug. Speaking of Taylor, she also won Best Album at the end of the night, so with four wins total between them they basically have more celebrating to do than any other couple on the planet right now. So congrats to all the winners and nominees of the night, and thanks for giving us fans one kickass year of music!
