Fargo was the big baller of the night, taking home awards in four categories including Best Supporting Actor and Actress in a TV Movie or Limited Series for Jesse Plemons and Jean Smart as well as Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Kirsten Dunst. Fargo sealed the deal by winning Best TV-Movie or Limited Series.
Mr. Robot was the second biggest winner of the night with three wins including Best Drama Series, Best Actor, Raml Malek and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, Christian Slater. Master of None took home the holy grail of Comedy winning Best Comedy Series and we got to see the perfection that is Aziz Ansari take the stage.
There were lots of notable wins in the Best and Supporting Actress categories including Carrie Coon for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her work in the Leftovers, Constance Zimmer for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for UnReal, Mayim Blalik snagged Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for the Big Bang Theory and Rachel Bloom took home Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. She also won the Golden Globe so hopefully someone’s poppin’ the champagne tonight.
The Gentlemen also racked in the wins including Jeffrey Tambor who snagged Best Actor in a Comedy Series for Transparent, Andre Braugher won Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Brooklyn Nine Nine and Idris Elba took home Best Actor in a TV-Movie or Limited Series for his performance in Luther.
