Riverdale Director Teases Season 2 Clue & First Look At Veronica's Family

Riverdale’s director gives us a bloody clue about what to expect in season 2, plus we’ve got our first look at Veronica Lodge’s family all together.
Riverdale fans have been DYING for any clue as to what might happen in season 2, and now, it looks like our prayers have been answered...
Filming on season two of Riverdale has only recently started, but one of the show’s directors has already given us a major hint as to what we can expect in the first episode of the season. Director Rob Seidenglanz just wrapped shooting the episode, and he took to Instagram to post a photo from the set that fans have already been dissecting for clues. He posted a picture of a bloody Riverdale High School letterman jacket, along with the caption, "and that's a wrap on Episode 201 of @thecwriverdale #akissbeforedying"
So let’s break it down. Last season Archie’s dad got shot during an armed robbery at Pop’s, and Archie jumped in to take care of him. The obvious connection here is the Instagram picture is of Archie’s jacket which has gotten some of his dad’s blood on it. Or is it?? We’re assuming Archie isn’t going to get killed off his own show, but then again, the show’s episode title, “A Kiss Before Dying” is pretty freaking ominous, and we’re a little nervous that someone isn’t going to make it to episode 2...
In much lighter news from Riverdale season 2, Veronica and mom Hermione Lodge are finally getting a family reunion with daddy Lodge. Hiram Lodge is out of jail and ready to play a big part in season two, and thanks to a selfie actress Marisol Nichols just shared to Instagram, we can finally see what the Lodge family reunion is going to look like. And spoiler alert: This is one good looking family.
We can already tell that Mark Consuelos is perfectly cast as Hiram, and we’re already getting excited to see what family drama and excitement he’ll bring to the mix.
